WHAT IS THE UNDERGROUND FREE CLINIC?

The Underground Free Clinic wants to care for those in our network with the greatest needs. Their conviction is that people should be able to receive exceptional, consistent care, from a doctor that knows them, and in an environment that makes them feel important and valued. Their desire is to be a medical home for patients and a service to ministries in our network, helping to further the important work they are doing, and together joining the long-term restorative work of God.

WHAT SERVICES DO THEY OFFER?

The UG Free Clinic offers a variety of services including: 

• General Physical Exams

• Chronic Disease Management

• Treatment for Minor Acute Conditions

• Insurance Enrollment

• Health Education

• Testing & Treatment for Common STI's

• Women's Wellness Exams

• Discount Prescriptions (as available)

• Prayer Ministry & Counseling

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

​

Essentially your income must fall under 200% of the FPL ($25k annually or $2k monthly), or if someone has been recently furloughed due to COVID-19, there may be a way to determine eligibility. Potential patients must be uninsured or not have access to the care that they need through their insurance plan.

There's a whole process to determine someone's eligibility, so it's best to call and go through that intake paperwork with them.

DO I HAVE TO VISIT YOUR TAMPA OFFICE FOR CARE? 

​

You can always visit their office in Tampa to be seen in person, but with the tele-health options we have set up that is no longer a necessity. They do all our labs and imaging through BayCare and any patients could just find the location nearest them to get certain services taken care of.
